Feruz Sons & Co. Shoe Factory is the foremost manufacturer of custom made shoes and private label footwear worldwide. Our service offering also includes production of leather goods and accessories. The owner Feruz Sons & Co. has been supervising the entire manufacturing process for over 15 years now delivering the highest quality of workmanship.
Yes, you can surely work with us remotely. All our staff members are fluent in English and are easy to communicate with. Feruz sons cater to clients from all around the world, which includes the Bahamas, USA, Canada, UK, Australia, South Africa & France among others. We generally use Skype & WhatsApp Groups to communicate and share weekly updates. You are of-course also welcomed to visit our Factory at your own expense.
~~ Product development ~~
This step is crucial to developing a new shoe collection before making a production order. Our Startup Package helps you bring your ideas to life and visualize the product before going into quantity production. Samples can also be used to show retail buyers, exhibit them at trade shows or on your website & social media for pre-order. This step also helps you understand the demand for your products to make a confident order.
Detailed sketches and tech-packs, made by an experienced designer. If instead you have an initial idea but not a professionally made sketch, then our team can help recreate the style, turning it into a feasible product and making it ready for development at the shoe factory. This process would also provide you with a more accurate preview of how the style will look like in real life. You can ask for more information via Contact Us.
Some samples are immediately available on request. For new samples OR custom style, the normal sample lead time is 10-20 days. For samples with customized new soles/moulds then need 20-25 days extra for making new moulds.
The cost varies depending on complexity of the design, materials, hardware and embellishments (if any) or if a particular shoe making technique is necessary.
As a general rule, an approximate range is 800 to 2,500 Euro per style.
It can be higher if the style requires a specific custom setup, for example a custom heel, custom rubber sole, custom hardware, etc.
Development cost excludes: shipping, insurance, Customs & import duty*.
(*) charged at the destination country and depending on local trade regulations.
The development includes everything needed to produce a sample. We send out a “product specification” PDF that summarizes the style technical details and materials used.
This can be assessed on a case by case basis and depending on the order quantity.

Feruz sons & co. work primarily for private label brands and we can only post a limited number of (their) products – you may check our Instagram account for some examples. Upon request, we can provide customer references.

~~ Production ~~
The MOQ depends on many factors, such as the shoe design, the materials, custom components, etc.
For footwear, we support small MOQs such as 100 pairs per style, with multiple sizes of your choice.
6-8 weeks with ample preparation and all materials on site (excluding shipping). Note: take into account Italian holidays: 2-3 weeks in August and 1-2 weeks at the end of December.
Lastly, please take into account potential logistic issues that may impact timelines and are outside of our control. For example: shipping delays, Customs holding up the goods for further checks, etc.
As you repeat a production order, the lead times tend to become shorter.
The order quantity plays a role in the price after a certain order quantity amount. As a rule of thumb, above 300 pairs the production fixed costs can be better spread out and you may see a reduced price per pair (starting from 5% and possibly up to 10-12% when order quantity goes above 1,000 pairs).
Yes. Clients can arrange visits to our Feruz Sons & Co. shoe factory at their own expense. Visits during your production run will need to be coordinated with the factory in advance. We typically recommend coming mid way through your production run so that you can see finished shoes and those that are just coming off the production line.
~~ Leather & Materials ~~
Each product that leaves the Feruz Sons & Co. Shoe Factory features pristine quality leather and suede, sourced from the best ethical tanneries in Bangladesh and around the world. When selecting a tannery, we ensure that each leather supplier has been audited against LEG standards also known as the Leather Working Group Environmental Auditing Protocol. The group seeks to improve the leather manufacturing industry by creating alignment on environmental priorities, bringing visibility to best practices and providing suggested guidelines for continual improvement. We also use vegan leather & vegetable tanned leather which is a natural tanning process and chrome-free leather in our production of footwear and leather goods.
All our materials are sourced from the best ethical tanneries in Bangladesh and around the world. We offer all kinds of Full Grain or Top Grain Leather, Embossed leather, Split Suede, Microfiber leather, Vegan Leather among others. Exotic Skins such as crocodile, python, and Elk leather are also available upon request. Our in-house collection is updated every year as per seasonal trends and we also carry swatch books from the finest tanneries in the world so anything under the sun can be procured.
We do not sell raw materials, only finished products.
~~ Payment ~~
Terms may vary depending on the specific situation.
Projects are split in different phases such as design, development, production, packaging, etc.
Payment upfront is necessary before starting each phase. When trust is built and orders are recurring, payment terms with installments can be considered for production orders.

Wire transfer to our company bank account in Bangladesh.

Yes we do offer worldwide shipping at. Cost of shipping is not included on made to order & wholesale products. Taxes may apply as per country.

Yes, during the Product Development & Manufacturing stage we can take pictures of the process. If you have any special requirements, kindly inform our team so we can prepare a professional photography shoot during the making process.
